The Douglas E. Goldman Jewish Genealogy Center at Beth Hatefutsoth (“the
Center”) has as its pricipal aim to gather genealogical details of Jewish
families from all periods and all Jewish communities in Israel and in the
Diaspora.

The information registered on our genealogical database has been submitted by
individuals who wish to record the history of their families, and remains under
the sole responsibility of those making the submission or submissions.

The Center is in no position to check the reliability of the information on the
database. It serves as an aid to people who wish to record their heritage.

The Center accepts no responsibility for the information contained in its
database. It is accordingly obliged to act upon any request from anyone wishing
to delete details from the database. The Center will not be held liable for
violations of copyright, which may adversely affect a family tree.

The Center reserves for itself the right not to include in the database a
particular family tree or part thereof, a decision which is at the sole
discretion of the Center.

Registration of a person’s name on the database shall not be considered as a
proof of Jewish identity, personal status, kinship etc.

The Center operates according to the Laws of the State of Israel, particularly
to the Law for the Protection of Privacy as applied to information contained
within databases.

The Center is not in any way responsible for the use which any third party
(individual or organization) may make of information received from the Center.

The rights to the database belong to the Center. Copying, duplication or
publication of the database or any part thereof are expressly forbidden without
written consent from the Center.
