The Prof. Halbrecht My
Family's Story
International Competition, 2002-2003
Over 12,000 students from 5
countries worldwide participated in this year's competition. 157 projects
from Israel and abroad reached the final stage of the competition and of
these 38 were chosen for the final judging. Every student whose work made
it to the final stage of the competition was presented with a personal
Certificate of Appreciation from Beth Hatefutsoth.

The Judging Panel comprised
representatives from the Israeli Ministry of Education, the Constantiner
Family School of Education of Tel Aviv University, the Douglas E. Goldman
Jewish Genealogy Center at Beth Hatefutsoth, the Bernhard H. and Miriam
Oster Visual Documentation Center of Beth Hatefutsoth, and the Education
Center of Beth Hatefutsoth.

The prize-giving ceremony took
