The deployment of a new state-of-art computer system has enabled improved searches of the museum's databases, including the genealogy database of the Douglas E. Goldman Jewish Genealogy Center. These latest developments have made possible a much better access to the information concerning Holocaust victims and the possibility of generating comprehensive lists with the names of all Holocaust victims recorded in the genealogy database of Beth Hatefutsoth.

Goldman Jewish Genealogy Center at Beth Hatefutsoth is helping Yad Vashem - the Holocaust's Martyrs and Heroes' Remembrance Authority in Jerusalem in making sure that all available information on Holocaust victims is being recorded in the Central Database of Shoah Victim's Names. The Douglas E. Goldman Jewish Genealogy Center is providing Yad Vashem, namely the Hall of Names, with lists of Holocaust victims based on the genealogical information recorded with Beth Hatefutsoth by Jewish families from all over the world.
