(died 1728), rabbi.

Born probably in Amsterdam, Netherlands, he became the hazzan (cantor) of the community of Peyrehorade, near Bayonne, in France, formed by crypto-Jews who were fugitives from Portugal. Later he was appointed hakham (rabbi) of the Bayonne community. His writings include a commentary in Spanish on the Prophets and a handbook on the rites for the dying.
