Roots and Routes

Beth Hatefutsoth and "Geographical Tours"

Coordinated by Leah Netzer

Do you dream of questing your family's roots while touring various destinations?
Would you like to visit the house in which your great grandfather lived in, in some faraway village?
Do you sometimes try to imagine what community life looked like in an 18th century small town?
Now, with the personal guidance at Beth Hatefutsoth, and the experience of "Geographical Tours" in unique expeditions, you can make it happen. A fascinating and moving trip is guaranteed.
A two step preparation is involved:

Step one – "Roots"
Meet a professional consultant at Beth Hatefutsoth, who will guide you as to how to trace, sort, edit and present information about the history of your family or community, using the databases of Beth Hatefutsoth, and other sources.

Step two – "Routes"
Now it's time to plan the actual trip, using all the data you have collected.
The "Geographical Tours" team will meet you and plan your trip for you, combining both the "roots", and the touristic attractions in the requested destinations, where you will have a professional, local, English-speaking guide, a car, hotel reservations, etc.
