Summer celebration for special needs children thanks to Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot
Two hundred special needs children and their families were hosted at Beit Hatfutsot for a lively summer celebration in July, thanks to the Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot. The children visited the A-Be-See-Do exhibition in the Family Gallery, and participated in the “Family Matters” workshop with Hanoch Piven. The group was joined by Israel Friends Chair Mr. Gideon Hamburger, Israel Friends CEO Ms. Irit Admoni Perlman, actresses Gilatt Ankori and Limor Goldstein and her son, Ronit Reichman Lahat and her children, Hedva Sharon and her daughter, Narda Gabbai and her grandchildren, Arnon Ben Shalom, Smadar Simchai and her family, and many other donors and activists.
“Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot, which works to advance educational, communal and cultural projects throughout the year, is proud to host annual summer events dedicated to the hundreds of children from families in distress, and children with special needs along with their families,” said Ms. Admoni Perlman. “It’s always so moving to see the children’s excitement. These experiential activities that we offer strengthen our own commitment and make our work more meaningful.”
