Evelina Merhaut of the National Fund of the Republic of Austria

Mag. Evelina Merhaut of the National Fund of the Republic of Austria, visited Beit Hatfutsot this morning. Enia Zeevi Kupfer, Director of the European Desk at Beit Hatfutsot, escorted Ms. Merhaut through the exhibitions. Ms. Merhaut was particularly impressed with the synagogue models, especially the recent addition of the model of the Eliyahu Hanavi synagogue of Alexandria currently displayed in the museum lobby and Mag. Merhaut expressed the hope that with their support, the Museum will add a model of a Viennese synagogue to the Beit Hatfutsot renowned collection.
