Dr. Avner Bahat, recipient of the 2013 Engel Prize for Music
The prestigious prize was awarded to Dr. Bahat in recognition of his lifetime contribution to study and research of Jewish musical traditions as well as contemporary Israeli musical compositions.
Dr. Bahat is the founder and the first Director of the Feher Jewish Music Center at Beit Hatfutsot.
