Independence Day Ball
Celebrating Israel's 65th Anniversary and Beit Hatfutsot's 35th Anniversary
The Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot celebrated Israel's 65th Independence Day and the 35th anniversary of the establishment of Beit Hatfutsot, The Museum of the Jewish People, in a festive ball.
Gideon Hamburger, Chair of the Friends of Beit Hatfutsot and Irit Admoni Perlman, Director of Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot together with board member Motty Reif, organized a one-of-a-kind Yom Ha'atzmaut Ball, with the motif of an Israeli dance party. The proceeds from the Ball will go towards hosting IDF soldiers and officers as well as children at risk, to guided tours, special programs and educational workshops at Beit Hatfutsot.
"I am grateful for the opportunity to commence a new tradition of celebrating Yom Ha'atzmaut at Beit Hatfutsot”, said Irit Admoni Perlman, "no place is better suited for celebrating Israel’s Independence Day than in the museum that tells the story of the Jewish People."
It was also announced that Titi Aynaw, Miss Israel 2013, agreed to serve as the Good Will Ambassador of the Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot, around the world.
The event was generously sponsored by Harel Insurance, the Nadav Fund and the Sagy Group.
