An exhibition of tabernacles on Sukkot 2010

Beit Hatefutsot in cooperation with the Ministry of Information and Diaspora Affairs will be holding a Celebration of the Jewish People during this coming Sukkot (26–29 September 2010).


The Festival will take place at Beit Hatefutsot and exhibits will also be displayed around the Tel Aviv University campus. The festival will concentrate on the story of the Jewish family and the courageous links between various communities throughout the world.


Within the framework of the festival, there will be an exhibition of 10-12 specially decorated succot, which will represent different Jewish communities from around the globe. Each succa will be decorated by a team made up of designers and/or artists; the aim being to provide a unique and exciting interpretation of "temporariness" as represented by the succa, within each specific community.
