Over 450 special needs children from all over Israel attended an event at Beit Hatfutsot to usher in the new school year. The visitors enjoyed the new A-B-See-Do exhibition, musical performances, arts and crafts activities, and refreshments. The event, held on September 19th, was organized by the Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot.

Irit Admoni Perlman, Director of the Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot, was very pleased with the event. It was attended by Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli, Olympic medalist Yael Arad, Miss Israel, Shiraz Tal and other celebrities. Beit Hatfutsot CEO Avinoam Armoni was also in attendance, along with IFBH Board members who arrived to host the children.  At the event, which was widely covered by the national media, Irit announced that the Israel Friends intend to make this happening an annual event.
