"Be Happy: Naïve Art In Israel" Exhibition Opens to Rave Reviews
"Be Happy: Naïve Art in Israel" which celebrates an optimistic and joyful Israeli art form in a way that has never been displayed before opened to rave reviews. The opening, which was held on September 13 was attended by the artists whose works were displayed, including Ben Bejerano, Erik Bokobza, Eliyahu Sidi and Michael Falk.
Shira Friedman, who curated the exhibition along with Beit Hatfutsot Chief Curator Hagai Segev, said, “This is a unique opportunity to view all these artists together and see how they influenced each other and created a genre of naïve Israeli art.”
