Israel Friends host the Board of Governors
The Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot chaired by Mr. Gideon Hamburger and directed by Ms. Irit Admoni Perlman hosted the Beit Hatfutsot Board of Governors headed by Mr. Leonid Nevzlin, Chairman of the Board, at a festive dinner at the Dan Hotel in Tel Aviv on June 17. The event was held in the presence of MK Yuli Edelstein, Minister of Public Diplomacy and Diaspora Affairs and was attended by over 150 guests and supporters from Israel and around the world.
Among the guests were members of the Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot Business Forum, members of the Beit Hatfutsot Board of Directors and Board of Governors, Beit Hatfutsot CEO Avinoam Armoni, Lizika and Ami Sagy, Irina Nevzlin Kogan, Tedi Sagy, Ambassador Avi Pazner, Ambassador Zalman Shoval and his spouse Kena, Yair and Ilana Hamburger, Ami Federman, Ronit and Dan Lahat, , Maj. Gen (res.) Eitan Ben Eliahu, Prof. Itamar Rabinowitz, Prof. David Libai, Gad Zeevi, Naomi and David Kulitz, Efraim Halevi, and others.
The guests enjoyed a lecture by Maj. Gen (res.) Amos Yadlin, former head of Israeli intelligence, on the Iranian threat, and were moved by an exceptional performance by singer and pianist Marina Maximilion Blumin who performed songs in both English and Hebrew.
Israel Friends Director Irit Admoni Perlman, who emceed the event, said, “We recently launched a business forum, a unique body composed of leading Israeli business people from 40 companies who have come together to support and influence social, educational and communal projects of Beit Hatfutsot. We hope that by the end of the year this number will grow as we continue to add new members and together we will work towards developing Jewish identity and cultivating a connection to our heritage among the next generation of Jewish people.”
