Volunteering

Beit Hatfutsot relies on the commitment of its dedicated volunteers who take on a wide range of museum functions and roles.

Volunteers are vital members of Beit Hatfutsot activities. They are the welcoming faces for visitors, and speak a wide range of languages, thus ensuring that every visit to Beit Hatfutsot is a pleasant one. There are also volunteers who work behind the scenes in a variety of roles in the library, study center, databases, and the school, in tasks such as research, editing, data entry and more.

Positions available for volunteers include:

• Customer service in the study center
• Greeting visitors in the public lobby area
• Research and editing in the database centers
• Museum guiding

Some of these positions, such as guiding, are offered following a specially designed training course.
