Announcement – “Spring Prism” Photo Exhibition
The Spring Prism photo exhibition will display photos reflecting a variety of perspectives from worldwide Jewish communities, through the prism of spring and all its multi-dimensional associations.
Both Israeli and worldwide Jewish communities are mutually intrigued about various aspects of each other’s lives. A range of photographs offers an opportunity for an encounter between personal points of view of photographers from different communities.
Nature dictates the seasons that constitute community life, which affects the customs, traditions and daily life of the people. The exhibit’s goal is to present the Israeli audience with personal impressions on this theme from a diverse group of photographers representing many Jewish communities.
The exhibition will take place this spring, 2016 and images will be on display for a month in a space located in the center of Tel Aviv. The exhibit will be open to all audience free of charge.
Artists in the photography field, professional and amateur photographers of all ages from Jewish communities worldwide, are invited to submit:
- Four Photos
- A short bio of the photographer
Send these documents to: [email protected] no later than April 7th, 2016.
Selected photos, will be printed and displayed in an exhibition and become part of the visual collections of Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People
