Fashion Event: GALLABIA
The Israel Friends of Beit Hatfutsot (IFBH) promotes the educational, cultural and community programs at Beit Hatfutsot – The Museum of the Jewish People. Events and fundraising efforts are made to support the cause of bringing school children and families from Israel’s peripheral areas to a meaningful visit at the Museum. To this end, Irit Admoni Perlman, director of IFBH joined together with Israeli fashion house Gallabia and designers Etti Zayeg and Merav Hadari, to create a morning full of Israeli fashion and fundraising. Over 150 women attended this exclusive event which was held recently at the stunning residence of Mati Caraso’s, one of IFBH’s donors. It featured a vibrant fashion show by the poolside: models showing off Gallabia’s new summer collection to Israeli music walked the catwalk and the energy was vibrant.
“This large gathering and general interest in the event demonstrates how significant it is for Israelis today to not only support Israeli fashion and entrepreneurship but also our communal heritage and Beit Hatfutsot”, said Admoni Perlman.
Amongst the guests were leading Israeli businesswomen, including Hana Pri Zan (of Bank Hapoalim), Sigal Bar-On Fisher (Co-Chair of Dr.Fisher Pharmaceuticals), Hedva Sharon (Joint Managing Director at Lighthouse F.S.), Galia Albin and many other prestigious supporters of Beit Hatfutsot.
The event was sponsored by Discount Private Banking.
