A Tour With Benji Lovitt
The famous Jewish names in comedy are too many to list. Why does it seem that humor is embedded in our DNA? In “Let There Be Laughter – Jewish Humor Around the World” visitors take a lighthearted look at the origins of Jewish humor and the major contributions of Jews as superstar comedy writers, producers and comedians throughout history and around the world. The fun begins as you travel back to the Catskills comedy stage, relax on the Seinfeld TV set and sing along with Adam Sandler. Practice your own comedy stand up routine.
The exhibit will be followed by a conversation with acclaimed comedian Benji Lovitt whose unique perspectives are mined from the intersection of American and Israeli cultures. The group will explore Jewish identity and humor on a deeper level, gaining a greater appreciation of our rich history.
